Hybrid Cables:
- Hybrid cables that contain multiple units of recognized copper cables are subject to additional NEXT loss requirements between cable units. These requirements assure a minimum of 6 dB additional crosstalk isolation between applications that may operate on adjacent cables within the Sheath.
- All detailed specifications for the individual cable units used in the hybrid assembly still apply.
Undercarpet Cables:
- Should not be used in wet locations.
- Should be separated from power cables by at least 152 mm (6 in.), except at crossings.
- The use of carpet squares is recommended for accessibility.
