Auger Type with Replaceable Head
This new patented design allows the drill head to be replaced instead of throwing the entire bit away when it becomes dull. It is manufactured with Loc-Tite on the threads to prevent accidental removal when backing the bit out. Simply clamp in a vise and use pliers to remove the old head and replace for less than half the cost of a new bit. The 3/4" bits have been re-engineered with a 1/4" shaft to reduce the chance of breakage.
